Ingredients for Jack Skellington Cookies
The treats from Disneyland are always made with the absolute best ingredients, that’s why we love them so much and why they taste so amazing.
It may be difficult to make the exact same thing as found in Disneyland but that doesn’t mean we can’t try. The Jack Skellington cookies are made with the same basic ingredients found in sugar cookies, flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, butter and more.
But when you are all finished, you will find that these sugar cookies have a bit more to them than just a basic cookie.
Ingredients for Jack Skellington Cookies Icing
The key to this recipe lies in the icing as it is what you will use to make the cookie a Jack Skellington cookie. There are a few different ways to make icings like royal icing or a buttercream icing.
Here, we will be going with an egg white royal icing. That means you will need egg whites, confectioner’s sugar, and for flavor, almond extract.
Jack Skellington Cookies Directions
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl and whisk until combined. Set aside.
Combine butter and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer and beat until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture in three parts. Once the dough comes together, cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 400°F.
On a floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Using a round cookie cutter or an overturned cup, cut dough into circles about 3 1/4 inches in diameter. Place cookies 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely before icing.
Directions for icing
Place egg whites in a bowl of an electric mixer; whisk until frothy. Add confectioners’ sugar a little at a time, until thick but still spreadable.
Place 1/3 of icing in a separate bowl. Add black food coloring paste to reserved icing and stir until color is uniform.
Decorate cooled cookies by covering with white icing and letting it dry (placing cookies in the refrigerator will speed up this process).
Place black icing in a pastry bag or a plastic resealable bag and cut off a tiny bit of the corner to create a very small hole. Use black icing to draw eyes, nostrils, and stitched mouth on each cookie.

Pumpkin Beignets Disneyland Recipe Ingredients
There are a few treats at Disneyland that are iconic in their own ways. It’s hard to go to Disneyland and not get a churro and have you tried the popcorn? Sure, it’s just popcorn but with that Disney magic, it tastes even better. Then there are the beignets.
Sure, you can’t eat a Disneyland beignet without getting powdered sugar on yourself, but would you want to? For the Halloween version of the beignet, we will be using pumpkin puree for flavoring, and then other beignet basics like sugar, heavy cream, eggs, shortening, flour yeast and more.
We won’t hide behind anything here, the ingredients list is long, but the outcome is well worth it and makes it a great Halloween recipe to make with the family.
