Perfect Lime Patron Margarita Recipe
The best margaritas are made with Patron Anejo tequila. The smoothness and flavor of this tequila just meld so easily with the flavorings of the Tres Agaves Organic Margarita Mix.
Those two ingredients are the essentials; what comes next is what makes this margarita recipe one of the best. The Patron Citronge Lime Liqueur adds even more flavor that will become the star of the margarita.
how to make Lime Patron Margaritas
Gather ingredients. You can use a different type of Patron if you prefer; the Anejo just happens to be our favorite.
If you like salt on your rim, now is the time to salt your glass. I skip this as I happen to love the taste of tequila on its own.
Mix tequila, margarita mix, and liqueur in a shaker and pour over ice.
If you prefer, you can also just pour these three ingredients into a glass over ice. This is what I do if it’s just my husband and I, so I have fewer dishes to wash.
Top with club soda to your liking. Less is more with this Patron margarita recipe.
Garnish with a lime.
I also add a glass straw to our cocktails because it makes it easy to keep mixing the ingredients together. Liqueurs can sometimes fall to the bottom; with a simple swish, it stays nicely mixed in.
The Patron Lime Citronge really adds a smooth touch to a traditional margarita, making it less tart! I hope you love this Perfect Lime Patron Margarita as much as we do!
It pairs beautifully with our Cowboy Caviar, and if you like a more traditional margarita, you may also want to try our Nearly NorCal Margarita recipe.
