21 Day Fix Upper Fix Workout Review
The 21 Day Fix upper fix workout program is designed to work alongside the dietary portion of the 21 Day Fix program. It will help you burn calories and get into shape…fast! The great thing is that there are many different programs to choose from. Today, we’re looking at the Upper Fix program, which is the second one in the lineup.
The 21 Day Fix Upper Fix workout program is an excellent way to burn calories, get in shape, and feel better both during and after using the 21 Day Fix program.
One of the main reasons the 21 Day Fix is so popular is because it works. The program teaches you portion control by using color-coded containers that are perfect-sized.
Along with the specific dietary requirements (meal prepping is a must), you can use the 21 Day Fix workout programs to see incredible results. They take almost no equipment; some free weights, a yoga mat, and some great workout clothing and you are all set!

I love that using Beachbody on-demand to view the 21 Day Fix Upper Fix workout videos means I can work out while on the go. I can work out when we are traveling or when I’m away for business.
You don’t have to miss out on your workout or your regular routine. It’s also a lot easier than packing DVDs and something to play them with!
How Long are 21 Day Fix Upper Fix Workouts
The 21 Day Fix Upper Fix workout is 30 minutes in length. You’ll need water, a towel, and some weights or a resistance band. The mat is great but not required.
The workout is comprised of 2 rounds, 5 exercises in each round, each exercise lasts for 1 minute each. You get a 15-second rest between each exercise. She does have a person on each side who is doing a modified cycle for those of you who might need to give yourself a safer alternative until you work up to full speed or weight!
The 21 Day Fix Upper Fix workout starts with a warm-up of jogging in place, windmills, jumping jacks, over-the-top reaches, toe touches, and then again through the whole cycle.
Then, the workout goes into the following cycle of weights, groundwork, and moves.
Round 1
- Heavy Weights | Bent Over Row
- Lighter Weights | Transverse Twist
- Ground Work | Push Ups
- Ground Work | Forearm Plank
- Heavy Weights | Hammer Curl to Shoulder Press
- Repeating Round 1 for a Second Cycle
Round 2

How Many Calories do 21 Day Fix Upper Fix Workouts Burn?
One of the excellent things about the 21 Day Fix workout (and all of the workouts) is that you can burn a lot of calories with a relatively quick program. I typically burn between 220 and 260 calories.
It will vary for you individually and your intensity when working out but you can expect to burn at least 200 calories if you are giving it some pretty solid effort!
Workout DVDs on Amazon
You can purchase the whole system of 21 Day Fix DVDs on Amazon right here. You can also purchase an extra set of containers. I love having more than one on hand because it makes meal prep a breeze.
You can get the 21 Day Fix Extreme program too. It’s designed as a kind of secondary program for those of you who might enjoy the 21 Day Fix so much that you want to keep going!
Beachbody Workout Review
Overall I’d say that the Upper Fix is a great workout. I get a little bit of cardio in this workout because it is a brisk pace, but it’s also a nice break from the Total Body Cardio Fix workout, which is much more intense.
The 21 Day Fix workout is definitely a workout that anyone and everyone can do. Even if you are not in great shape you can handle this workout. There are great modifier moves that make this accessible for everyone.
You can use a resistance band and weights that suit your needs, or you can do the moves without weights until you build up some stamina. I really can’t get over the calorie burn.
I love home workouts and it’s great that I can burn some serious calories in just 30 minutes. The 21 Day Fix program makes a point to give me a great workout every time, even if it’s not a specifically cardio-focused workout.
This is truly a great workout. If you are following the workouts and the dietary element you will see results and feel great!
