Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes with Ground Beef Ingredients
The ground beef is the star of the show in this recipe. But you will need some supporting characters if you want to get the most flavor out of your slow cooker sloppy Joes with ground beef. You will need onions, a green pepper, garlic, ketchup, brown sugar, ground mustard, tomato sauce, and some Worcestershire sauce.
Everything will come together to make an amazing product in the end.
The crockpot will also help all of these ingredients meld together as they cook slowly. Then there is the bun. You could use regular old sandwich bread if you wanted to. - 1 Lb Ground Beef
- 1/2 Cup Onion
- 1 Green Pepper or Pepper of Your Choice, Diced
- 1 Tsp Garlic
- 1/4 Cup Ketchup
- 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Tsp Ground Mustard
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/4 Tsp Pepper
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 15 Oz Tomato Sauce
- Brioche or Hamburger Buns
- Brown ground beef with onion & bell pepper. Add garlic the last couple minutes of cooking. The meat does not need to cook all the way through since it will be going into the crockpot.
