Sauteed Spinach | Ingredients
Making a healthy meal requires fresh and healthy ingredients. This recipe is no different with ingredients like tomatoes on the vine or fresh spinach.
That’s what it comes down to, the freshness of the ingredients. A can of spinach has a vastly different flavor than fresh spinach.
You will want to make sure these things are fresh. That freshness will make all of the difference in your finished product.

Steam rice while preparing rest of dish.
Dice tomatoes and onion.
Saute onion with brown sugar and 4 Tbsp margarine. Add a splash of balsamic vinegar.
While doing step 3, saute beef (broken into small pieces) with garlic salt and any additional desired spices. Cover and saute for 4-5 minutes.
Uncover and add tomatoes and sauteed onions and cook until all are warm and blended for about 4 minutes. Do not over stir as this will cause tomatoes to lose their texture.
Add 6 cups spinach and cover. Let the sauteed spinach soften and mix together with meat mixture.
Serve over brown rice or quinoa.
Serves 4-5. Cooking time 25-30 minutes.

- 6 cups Spinach
- 6 Tomatoes On The Vine
- 1 Medium Yellow Onion
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 4 tbsp Margarine
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Salt
- 1.5 lbs Boar's Head Roast Beef
- Olive Oil
- Balsamic Vinegar
- 4 cups Quinoa or Brown Rice
- Cook quinoa or steam rice.
- Dice tomatoes and onion.
- Saute onion with brown sugar and 4 Tbsp margarine. Add a splash of balsamic vinegar.
