We love Patron tequila for a treat or when we know we may overindulge just a bit, but still need to be up early the next day. My latest cocktail creation that we immediately fell in love with is this Patron skinny margarita recipe. With just five ingredients and a minimal amount of simple syrup, it keeps calories low without compromising taste.

Making the perfect margarita can depend on a lot of things. The ingredients are one! But you also need to have the right equipment on hand to make things quick and easy. Cutting boards, knives, stirring sticks, margarita glasses, these are all things you probably have on hand. But a cocktail shaker and a good bar set might not be hanging around at home. Patron Anejo Tequila

Patron Lime Citronge Liqueur

Simple Syrup

1 Lime

Club Soda

How to Make a Patron Skinny Margarita:

Add two ounces of Patron tequila to a cocktail shaker.  Add 1/3 ounce Patron Lime Liqueur to the shaker with 1/3 ounce simple syrup.

Cut a lime in half and use a lime press to squeeze the juice of one-half lime into the shaker.  Gently shake to mix the ingredients.

Fill a cocktail glass or small margarita glass with ice and pour the Patron skinny margarita ingredients over the ice.  Top with a splash of club soda and garnish with a lime.

Ingredients
  • Patron Anejo Tequila

Instructions
