I have long been a devoted Jillian Michaels fan owning just about every workout she has ever made including BODYSHRED. I am in process of completing the workout program and will be sharing fitness guides for each of the workouts to help others achieve success with it and find the answers to the questions they may have.

Jillian Michaels BODYSHRED workout one is like no other introductory workout she has done.

 Jillian Michaels BODYSHRED Launch Workout 1 Fitness Guide

About the Launch Workout

Launch may be workout 1 in this program but it will kick your butt and then some to build your endurance, balance, agility, and core strength.  The HIIT training will work your push muscles focusing on your chest, shoulders, arms, and quads.  All you need is a mat, light weights, and your body weight; I use 5 pound weights. This is fat burning and strength building your body will appreciate as you progress throughout the Bodyshred program and ultimately help you lose weight.

The Moves in Bodyshred Launch Workout

Warmup:

Running Man, Arm Circles, Jumping Jacks, Cat Cow, Jump Rope, Toe Taps

Circuit 1:

All rotations are completed two times.

Resistance (3) – Uneven Push Ups, Deep Squats, Forward Backward Lunge with Lateral Raise

Cardio (2) – High Knees, Burpees

Core (1) – Figure 4 Crunches

Circuit 2:

All rotations are completed two times.

Resistance (3) – Chataranga Pushups, Tricep Dips, Surrender Lunges

Cardio (2) – Jump Rope, Fast Feet

Core (1) – Walk out Planks with a Knee Hike

Circuit 3:

All rotations are completed two times.

Resistance (3) – Chair Squats with a Front Raise, Plyometric Stationary Lunge, Crescent Tricep Kickback

Cardio (2) – Back Fly Jacks, Behind the Back Jacks

Core (1) – Oblique Crunches

Circuit 4:

All rotations are completed two times.

Resistance (3) – Y Pushups, Plank to Hero, Twisting Camel with Weights

Cardio (2) – Duck and Roll Jab Cross, Single Leg Jump Rope

Core (1) – Bent Knee Wipers, Russian Twists

Jillian Michaels Bodyshred Launch Review and Tips

Bodyshred Launch is an awesome workout that will leave you feeling every inch of your body the first time you do it. For those that are new to working out, definitely modify and just build up to doing the moves completely.  The good news for Jillian fans is that this workout pushes everyone so you will not feel like it is an intro level.  You will be sore; there is no way around it.  When you think you should take a day off before Bodyshred Workout 2 – DON’T! You will actually feel better after you complete the second workout.  When you feel unsure just remember that you can do anything you set your mind to and that Bodyshred is one of the best workouts by Jillian Michaels.
