Place strawberries in a large bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and add water & lemon, and
begin to mash with potato masher until blended.

Slice the green apples to desired thickness with a sharp chef’s knife or paring knife.  Remove the core and seed from the middle part of each slice. To prevent browning of apple, place the apple slices in 1/2 teaspoon salt to 1 quart of water for about 3-5 minutes.

Lay the apples on a flat surface to dry for a few minutes.  Then spread the marshmallow fluff over the sliced apple and add a layer of strawberry topping.

Finally, add Apple Cinnamon Cheerios or desired Cheerios cereal to the top for
crunch and added nutrition.

My kids love cheerios but we never got the apple cinnamon cheerios so if we make this treat we will be trying all new ingredients. I love the idea of strawberry fluff so we will try this after my next trip to the market.
