Quick Air Fryer Snacks

Our easy fruit crisp recipe in the air fryer makes healthy snacking simple, quick, and deliciously crunchy with every bite. Eating fresh fruit is easy and a great way to get nutrients like vitamin C and fiber.

However, that one-note snack can get boring fairly quickly. We can change things up by using our favorite fruit or fruits in a fruit mixture for fruit crisp. Fruit crisps not only give us a different flavor.

The golden brown crips also makes it easier to enjoy fruit filling instead of just raw fruit. However, the best part of this recipe is the customizations we can make.

The crisp will stay the same in all iterations, but we can change the fruit all we want. We can turn this recipe into a mixed berry crips with fresh berries or add some old-fashioned oats to make it a meal, make a peach crisp or a blueberry crisp; we can even add a teaspoon ground cinnamon the next time we make it for something entirely different.

A delicious dessert is just a few steps away, and you won’t even need additional ingredients – just some pantry staples.

Air Fryer Fruit Crisp

Air fryers are great at making things crispy without bathing them in oil. These fruit crisps are no different. However, they are more like something all their own rather than a crisp.

A fruit crisp is topped with oats, whereas this recipe doesn’t call for any topping. Of course, the crisp topping can be added if you’d like. In fact, we can top the mixed berry crisp with whatever we’d like so long as it pairs well with sweet fruit.

Add some brown sugar for a caramelized taste or a scoop of ice cream in the summer. We can even use tart fruit for a crumble topping to try something new with the same recipe.

We don’t even need to worry about baking time, so trial and error won’t make much of a difference here. There is no bake time, just a delicious tortilla transformed into a crisp, topped with seasonal fruit, perfect for a quick snack or a dinner party dessert.

Air Fryer Fruit Crisp Ingredients

  • Tortillas – We don’t need many ingredients at all. We are ditching the pie crust and swapping it for a tortilla to make things as simple as possible.
  • Fruit Jelly – Fruit jelly will help hold the fruit in place. We simply add rinsed fruit right on top, but you can take an extra step to cook the fruit in a pot or slice it into smaller bites. Any fruit jelly you like will work.
  • Fruit – This recipe calls for blueberries and raspberries. However, you can use whichever type of fruit or fruit mixture you want. How about a triple berry crisp or a citrus crisp? The natural sweetness of the fruit will depend on which fruit you use.
  • Powdered Sugar – We topped this bad boy off with powdered sugar. Again, you can top your fruit crisp recipe in the air fryer with whatever you want, like a crispy topping or a little bit of white sugar.
