Heat oil in a skillet and brown turkey.  Drain excess grease.

Coat the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray. Mix in all ingredients.

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 lbs ground turkey
  • 1 can tomato soup low sodium
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with chilis
  • 1 can garbanzo beans
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp ground cumin
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch allspice
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 3/4 tbsp onions minced
