Easy Crockpot Pork Chops and Gravy Recipe

There will be a good amount of soup in this gravy. Specifically, you will need cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, and some beef broth. These soups will serve as the base of your gravy.

Each soup is already packed with loads of flavor, but combining them turns it into something entirely different. However, we aren’t going to just mix a few soups together and call it gravy.

Instead, we will add flavor to the pork with spices as well. You will need paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, dried parsley, an onion, and some baby red and gold potatoes.

These other spices and ingredients bring even more flavor to the finished dish. The potatoes can even serve as a starchy side dish, making this recipe an entire meal.

Directions

Preheat olive oil in a Cast Iron pan or large fry pan over medium to high heat. Season both sides of the pork chops with salt & pepper, paprika, onion & garlic powder. Place the pork chops in a pan and brown (sear) on both sides. About 3 to 4 minutes on each side.

Remove pork chops from the pan, set aside, and turn the heat to low/medium.

Add beef broth and both soups to the pan and whisk to release any brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Add dried parsley and stir to combine.

Put onions, mushrooms & potatoes on the bottom of the crockpot. Place pork chops over the onions, mushrooms & potatoes, and then pour the soup mixture evenly over the top.

Turn the slow cooker to high and cook for approximately 4 to 5 hours or low for 7 to 8 hours. Be sure to cook pork to the recommended temperature of 145 F to 160 F.

  • 4 Pork Chops Bone-In, Thick-Cut
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Container of Crimini Mushrooms Sliced or whole
  • 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 Cup Organic Beef Broth
  • 1 Tbsp Dried Parsley
  • 1/2 Large Onion Cut into quarters or diced
  • 2 Lbs Baby Red & Golden Mixed Potatoes Cut in half
