- Cinnamon: You can’t have a classic fall dessert without cinnamon. Of course, any cinnamon will do here, though you will definitely get bonus points for using fresh cinnamon.
- Nutmeg: Nutmeg is another classic seasoning needed to make fall desserts. In fact, those pumpkin spice drinks utilize nutmeg as well as cinnamon.
- Flour: All-purpose flour is perfect for getting that crisp oat mixture to bake perfectly golden brown.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Clean and slice apples and grease the bottom and sides of an 8″ x 8″ square pan.

This is a “mildly” healthy dessert on its own and is perfectly sweet without being too much so.

- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg could use pumpkin spice for a fall twist
