1/2cupsugar
1/2cuppacked brown sugar
1/4cupbutter
1/4cupshortening
1/2cupvanilla yogurt
1/2tspvanilla
1 1/4cupflour
1/2tspbaking soda
1/2tspsalt
2/3cupminiature chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine sugar, brown sugar, unsalted butter, and shortening in a large bowl; use a hand mixer, stand mixer, or wooden spoon to mix until blended. Butter will still be in small balls if an electric mixer is used.
Add yogurt, vanilla, and baking soda. Mix.
Add flour, salt, and chocolate chips. Mix until all ingredients are well blended.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drop dough balls onto the baking tray in a single layer.
Top thoroughly with sprinkles while on the cookie sheet.
Bake for 10-14 minutes.
Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack so they can completely cool.
