Easy Crockpot BBQ Ribs
This super easy crockpot BBQ ribs recipe turns out such flavorful and tender ribs, you may never fire up the grill again!

Ingredients

tbs
coarse salt
1/2
tbs
pepper
or to taste
1
tbs
smoked paprika
1
tbs
garlic powder
1
tbs
onion powder
1
tbs
cocoa powder
1/4
cup
light brown sugar
2
lbs
baby back ribs
4-5
potatoes
medium sized
1
bottle BBQ sauce
pick your favorite
Instructions
Combine the dry rub ingredients in a medium bowl. Rub to cover both sides of the ribs. You can save any leftover rub in an airtight container.
Heat a large skillet or grill pan and quickly sear both sides of the ribs for about 2-3 minutes per side until the rub forms a light crust.
Place the potatoes in the bottom of the Crockpot. Line the ribs along the outside of the Crockpot, around the potatoes.
Pour your bottle of barbecue sauce over the ribs, in the Crockpot. Be sure to pour sauce down both sides.
Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
Once the Crockpot is done, place the ribs and potatoes onto a cooking sheet. Brush the ribs and potatoes with some of the sauce from the Crockpot.
Set the oven to broil and place the ribs and potatoes in the oven for 3-5 minutes until the sauce is nicely caramelized.
Notes
I like to use the few minutes to reheat any veggie sides I am serving too!
