Being a Midwest girl originally, pizza is a well-loved meal for me and the rest of our family. We love ordering in of course but have also started making our own pizzas at home and as we were playing around with recipes, found a pizza panini recipe that we think is quite perfect.

The kids love it as does my husband and because it is a panini, anyone can easily leave off ingredients they don’t care for. As a mom, I love knowing that everyone is happy with their meal and loves what they eat so that is one of the best perks of any panini.

Our pizza panini recipe takes the popular pizza to a whole new level with fresh ingredients that everyone will love, and it compliments weekly meal planning! Making this pizza panini is a quick and straightforward process and is a recipe with five ingredients or less as well like our popular quesadillas!

Pizza Panini Recipe Ingredients

No pizza is complete without toppings. This recipe calls for pepperoni, but you can feel free to add whatever you’d like. We shall start with the basics though, mozzarella cheese and pizza sauce are important, after that, you can go crazy.

This is such a wonderful idea, I can’t wait to try it with my kids. Just the fact that each can be individualized to their tastes is perfect! Bland for them: flavorful and delicious for me and dad!
What do you use to grease your panini, btw?

All of my favorite things! It looks amazing and you got wonderful grill marks with you panini press. I’ve always wanted one of those. Using a good bread is so important in making a panini and that bread looks amazing!

Well, I just found lunch! The Pizza Panini looks so good. I haven’t tried that pepperoni from Trader Joes yet but it is on my list of items to try. I love using fresh mozzarella on our food, it just tastes so much better!

The last panini I had was several years ago when I was eating lunches from a box. I can’t remember which brand it was, but I did enjoy them. This recipe is sure to be even tastier than the boxed version.

Making pizza at home is exciting because we are free to choose whatever toppings we want to add unlike ordering one from a restaurant. It’s also great to create your own recipe. That pizza panini looks amazing and delicious for the family to share.
