Today marks the official completion of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Slimdown – what a great feeling! While I cursed and swore at the TV…ok, sometimes at Jillian ON my TV, I really have enjoyed the 30 Day Slimdown so wanted to give you a quick review.
Every diet works best and you combine exercise with a healthy eating style. You can use meal prep containers to plan ahead. You will need some storage containers or bags, cutting boards, and maybe a cute apron…Overall it’s about getting good ingredients together and ready so you can eat healthy without much effort!

I enjoy how strong I feel and have noticed a dramatic improvement in how alert I feel on a consistent basis. My energy level has also increased a lot, which is key for life as a mom. And as always, I work out so I can still “enjoy” life and throughout Jillian Michaels 30 Day Slimdown, I enjoyed being able to eat the treats I enjoy without as much worry about their effects on my weight. The funny thing is – Jillian Michaels has a way of brainwashing you. I started out in summer thinking that The Shred was HARD! And while it is, I now see Level 1 of The 30 Day Shred as a day off. Kind of scary if you ask me…

Mind you, I finished the second week feeling like I had this thing conquered. And then I took a look at what the next two weeks had in store…how silly I had been to think my ride would just coast along ’til the end. However, staying motivated was easier when I realized there is an online community going through it as well. It’s easy to find tips and tricks, meals and diets, and just stay motivated through online communities.

Yes, you read that right. Basically an hour and a half of Jillian! I have a whole new appreciation for the Biggest Loser competitors! If you’ve made it this far then you have something to be proud of. There is no reason to turn back now!
