You know I love my HTC devices…
and I love New York City…
so when the two merge together, I kinda need to share that.
HTC recently added New York as a city in their series of Global Design Tours. Global Design Tours is a free Android app available on Google Play that provides recommendations on design hotspots around the world, now including the Big Apple.
What I love about the HTC Global Design Tours app is that users get a chance to experience different locations right from their smartphone. You can see the city from Four Freedom Park and do fun things like shop in uncommon stores, get a peek inside museums, and just explore a city that may otherwise be off limits to you.
As parents, travel and world exposure is so important to us for our children. Calvin and Ava have a deep love for travel and we foster it in every way that we can. New York is on our travel list, but this HTC Design App allows us to broaden their horizons from wherever we may be. How cool would it be to visit the Big Apple with them and have them say, “Oh, I remember seeing that on that app, mama!”
The Global Design Tours app is optimized for the new HTC One. It’s my dream phone and as a Verizon customer, I am patiently waiting. I watched a live stream of the announcement of the HTC One in London so if you haven’t watched, be sure you do. You can see that why the HTC One, the world’s first full zero-gap aluminum unibody smartphone, is so highly praised by many.
The HTC Global Design Tour app app content will incorporate specially selected music tracks to bring the dual front-facing speakers of the HTC BoomSound™ to life. So you can check out the city while chillin’ to your favorite tunes.
