The Lab Brewing Company
Located in Agoura Hills, The Lab Brewing Company is a hot spot for great food and music. They have music and events each week to keep guests entertained and coming back. The food is perfect for the setting and environment with plenty of easy to eat foods while chatting with friends and family and they have great apps and snacks if you just want to enjoy something smaller while you listen to music. They have a great selection of micro brews as well so be sure to check those out!
Ladyface Ale Companie
Ladyface Ale Companie offers a relaxed atmosphere in both an indoor environment as well as a beautiful outdoor patio. The outdoor seating area overlooks Ladyface Mountain and the staff will happily share the story behind how Ladyface got its name. The menu at Ladyface Ale stands out from other restaurants because each item is taken a step beyond the traditional. Think fig, caramelized onions, grass fed beef, and tomato chutney all done to perfection.
The Grill on the Alley
If you are looking for an upscale meal that not only meets but exceeds expectations every step of the way, The Grill on the Alley is perfect for you. They have multiple locations but my first experience with them was at their Westlake Village location in Conejo Valley. The Grill on the Alley provides guests with a top notch service and dining experience that left me longing for when I could take my husband to dine with them and experience everything I love about The Grill.
My favorite? Their Filet Mignon and Key Lime Pie.
SIP Malibu
I walked into SIP Malibu and instantly felt at home; the vibe reminded me of how perfect it feels when you are enjoying a drive on vacation and find a little gem of a restaurant tucked away. SIP Malibu offers wines to satisfy any palate with fantastic music; guests can sit inside to enjoy a glass or meander out to their covered patio area. Many wines have some fun attached to their consumption as well; if you are drinking a wine when a song is played, you can purchase that bottle for half off.
Bring the red wine lover that I am, I found a new to me favorite in Purple Haze from the Woodstock Collection. SIP Malibu is a hidden gem that is a must on your Conejo Valley travels; wine lovers may want to allow time to visit a few times during their travels.
The Rabbit Hole Café
Do you remember when I mentioned how great restaurants in a city make you feel like part of the community? The Rabbit Hole Cafe does exactly that in Agoura Hills with its cottage like charm and personable service. They use locally sourced organic ingredients to compliment their menu and have some fabulous smoothies, wraps, and sandwiches. The Rabbit Hole Cafe is perfect for breakfast or lunch when you want to get amazing food without the feel of a chain restaurant. Many of their menu items are great for taking out on a hike or back to your hotel as well!
Harvest Kitchen and Bar at Hyatt Westlake Village
Home of the best Banana French Toast I have ever had, the Harvest Kitchen and Bar knows the kitchen. Located inside the Hyatt Westlake Plaza in Thousand Oaks, Harvest Kitchen and Bar is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers farm to table dining with exquisitely prepared dishes. You can enjoy your meal by the fire pit outside (Yes, please!) and enjoy happy hour from 4-7pm. Reservations can be made through their website which I would highly recommend as this is a popular restaurant.
Finding restaurants that offer you beautiful meals that are unique can be hard to find. If you want a casual vibe where you can guarantee fabulous food, dine at Public School 805 in Thousand Oaks. Prices are average compared to many with most entrees ranging from $9-$14 but the presentation and quality is anything but average at Public School 85. From a stunning watermelon salad to burgers and tacos, fresh ingredients stood out in every dish we tried here.
My recommendation that you simply cannot miss at Public School 805 are their Bacon Cheddar Tots. Bacon and cheddar together surrounded by totty goodness. Yes, you will thank me.

I don’t think I can choose which restaurant I’d want to try first. The food all looked so good and the pizza was calling my name!

Heather – the pizza was awesome but I think a road trip is in order so you can test them all! 🙂 XO!
